Delhi Sultanate, Tughluq Dynasty, Muhammad Bin Tughluq (AH 725-752/1325-1351AD ), Hadrat Delhi Mint, Gold Dinar, AH 727 (Retrograde Date in the obverse margin), Obv: Arabic legend The Kalima Shahada within an inner circle, zarb with epithet Ba Hadrat Delhi & Hijri year “fi sana sabah wa ashrin wa sabamaya” (=727) retrograded completely visible in the margin, Rev: Arabic legend “zarb fi zaman al- abd al-raji rahmat Allah Muhammad bin Tugluq”, 10.92g, 17.29mm, test marks, about very fine, Rare.Note: It is an interesting variety with an retrograded date.
