The serial number of this revolver identifies it as being part of the Colt Engineering Archives collection, available to the Historical, Engineering and Custom Shop departments as a reference piece. The barrel has the one line Hartford address on top, "1776 - U.S.A. BICENTENNIAL - 1976" on the left and "SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" on the right. Silver plated with niter blue screw heads, trigger, cylinder pin and hammer (polished sides). The unfluted cylinder features a 50 star American flag and a 13 star flag along with the names of the 13 colonies. Fitted with a smooth one piece dark walnut grip with a U.S.A. bicentennial medallion on the left side.

Excellent. The revolver retains 99% of the original silver plating showing some thinning on the butt. The grip is also excellent with a few light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
