Rare Pre-War German Erma Single Shot Bolt Action Training Rifle with SA Gruppe Marking on Stock
The chamber is marked "ERMA / Gewehrfabrik / ERFURT", with two crown/letter proofs and serial number on the left side. A pair of crown/letter proofs are also present on the barrel at the breech. Inverted "V" and tangent sights, with faux cleaning rod. The left side of the buttstock has a rare SA cartouche: the SA logo surrounded by "GRUPPE THURINGEN". Smooth pistol grip stock with "SA. GR. TH." (SA Gruppe Thuringen) marked in red paint on the left side of the forearm between the barrel bands and shotgun style buttplate.

Condition: Very fine. The rifle retains 85% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina with the finish on the receiver and chamber thinning to a brown. The wood is fine with numerous minor dings and scratches, with a minor dent on the forearm (right side) and a minor crack near the bolt handle. The cartouche is clear and crisp. Firing pin needs to be fixed (with lot), otherwise action functions properly.
