<B>Rare Pope Alexander VIII Autograph Document Signed,</B></I> one page with docketing, 15.75" x 8", probably the Vatican, October 19, 1689. Untranslated from the Latin, very fine condition. Quite rare given Alexander's brief reign lasting under two years. Born Pietro Vito Ottoboni (1610-1691), Pope Alexander VIII did not assume the papacy until age eighty. The signature of Cardinal Giovanni Francesco Albani is located at the lower right of the front of this brevis. Albani would become Pope Clement XI in 1700. <BR><BR><B>Important notice:
