Rare Original Walnut Borchardt Shoulder Stock with Leather Holster and Walnut Cheekpiece

This is a unique opportunity to acquire an original walnut shoulder stock with cheekpiece and attaching iron with the original black leather holster for a Model 1893 Borchardt Semi-Automatic pistol. As we all know the Borchardt pistol was the actual forerunner of the toggle lock Luger pistols and were typically all sold as a complete cased set with walnut board stock and spare magazines. In many instances the cases, stock/holster and accessories were separated from the Borchardt pistol and lost. This example appears to be a very early stock that was sold without pistol as it is NOT serial numbered and does not have the obligatory "GESETZLICH GESCHUTZT" markings (meaning "LAW PROTECTED") stamped on the underside of the stock. Also included with the rare stock is the original and black leather holster still attached along with the leather straps. These leather holster are even rarer that the stock as they deteriorated over the years and or had the stitching pull apart. As noted the complete and original metal attaching iron remains on the stock along with the original matching cheekpiece.

Very fine overall with 90% of the blue finish on the attaching iron with very light/minor handling marks on the board stock itself. The leather holster is also very fine with most of the black leather finish overall with all the stitching intact to include the straps. The outside of the holster shows some old light discoloration/mold spots, with a little gentle/light cleaning and application of the some correct leather preservative would dramatically improve the leather appearance overall. This is really a super condition Borchardt stock/holster combination rig. So if you are the owner of one of these rare pistols without a stock you need to buy this one as it would dramatically increase the value of your pistol.
