Extremely rare all original. Barber Shop style, extended-base National Cash Register, on original National tiger oak cash drawer. Excellent working condition, with original breast plate and top sign. Attributed to "The Coronado Saloon" in Vallejo, California at the turn of the last century. Original National paper manufacturer label notes Model #6-A-Std. Serial No.467167, from San Francisco dealer, was built on 11/17/1905 for A.B. Coronado, Vallejo, California. Mariano & Louisa Coronado moved their family from Napa to Vallejo and converted a one -story home into the two-story business between 1891-1899. Initially called “The Beanery” where 5-cent beer would also get you a bowl of chili beans, and later named “The Coronado" the business operated well into the next century. AB Coronado likely a close relative is listed as owning car dealership in Vallejo. Oak base measures 16.5" x 17.5", entirely stands 22" tall. LOCAL PICK UP/TRANSPORT RECOMMENDED.
