Rare Marston Western Arms Company Second Model Navy Model Percussion Revolver
Manufactured in the late 1850s to the early 1860s with a total production of about 1,000. The top barrel flat is marked "WESTERN ARMS Co N.Y.". Blue finish with silver plated brass trigger guard and fitted with smooth walnut grips.

Condition: Fine. The revolver retains 40% of the bright original high polish blue finish mainly concentrated on the bottom of the barrel and cylinder mixed with a dark patina. The frame has minor oxidation. The trigger guard retains traces original dark silver plating in protected areas. The grips are very fine with almost all of the original varnish, some lower edge wear and a few minor nicks and dings. The action needs work, the hammer cocks properly, however does not engage when the trigger is pulled. The markings are clear.
