Manufactured in 1914. Two line address on top of the barrel, "45 COLT" on the left side and the two line, three patent dates on the left side of the frame followed by the Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard and back strap. Standard fixed sights, blue finish with casehardened hammer and frame, long fluted cylinder and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top. The inside of the right panel is numbered to another gun. The accompanying factory letter verifies the caliber, barrel length, blue finish with grips as "Not Listed", states "According to our records, the Single Action Army Revolver described above was shipped from our factory with the long fluted cylinder." and that it was shipped as 1 of 2 to C.L. & Theo. Bering Jr. in Houston, Texas on March 5, 1914.

Condition:
Professionally refinished with 95% blue finish remaining showing a few small dings on the cylinder, a moderate scuff on the trigger guard and some flaking on the grip straps. The frame retains 75% darkened case colors with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The grips are excellent with a few light handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are clear. The action is fine.
