Daniel Boone is characterized by his accomplishments to further western expansion in early U.S history shining bright and bringing Kentucky to the forefront of the shining constellation that became the Union. Heartfelt by youth for courageous stories facing down wild animals and wilder men, Col. Illustrated gilt stamped cover features a colourized version of Alonzo Chappel's 1862 portrait of Daniel Boone which is also featured on the frontispiece.
