Rare large size fine quality antique Persian Sarouk. Made of fine quality lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation. All natural vegetable dye, incorporating an elegantly done free flowing allover floral pattern on a tomato red background and contrasted beautifully with a darker colored intricate floral border. This antique Sarouk dates back to the early 20th century, Circa 1905-1915. Hand woven in City of Sarouk from Iran. A true work of art. Size: 18 feet 4 inches X 10 feet 2 inches.
