<B>Salt Print of Millard Fillmore.</B></I> This salt print of Millard Fillmore (1800-1874) is believed to be by the Whitehurst Gallery in Baltimore, Maryland and is possibly here-to-fore unpublished. The print has been cut to an oval shape and measures 5" x 7". The image is especially dark (rare for salt prints), sharp and the viewer can clearly see the detail in Fillmore's attire, including his watch fob. American salt prints are considered to be rare and especially so in this size. The print is circa the late 1850's and certainly taken after his term as 13th President of the United States.
