Rare L.C. Smith Field Grade 410 Gauge Double Barrel Hammerless Shotgun with Ejectors
Built from 1914 to 1951 in Fulton, New York. This shotgun features 3 inch chambers, choked extra full/extra full with ejectors. Single bead sight on a solid matte barrel rib. The right barrel is marked "" and the left barrel is marked with the one line Hunter Arms address. Casehardened action with the side plates marked "L.C. SMITH". Double triggers and tang safety. Checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with grip cap and serrated buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Condition: Partially refinished, the barrels which retain 95% of the blue finish with some minor thinning. The action retains 20% of the original faded case colors with the balance a smooth silver gray and brown patina. The wood is fine with some minor dings, dents, and scratches with a couple hairline cracks in the forearm. Overall the checkering remains crisp. The buttplate toe has a moderate chip. Markings are clear. Mechanically good.
