SN: 458586 U.S. Military contracted semi-automatic service rifle chambered in .30 Carbine, circa 1943. Between June, 8 1943 and July, 29 1943 Inland shipped 1,900 receiver to Rock-Ola at which point the Inland name was lined out and the Rock-Ola name was stamped below the serial number. Features a parkerized finish, 18" Rock-Ola barrel dated 5-43, winged blade front sight, adjustable rear aperture sight, wide barrel band, bayonet lug, green, two rivet hand guard with narrow groove, rotating safety, no magazine, smooth trigger, flat bolt, and smooth walnut pistol grip shoulder stock with checkered metal buttplate, 'I" cut oiler slot & low-wood handguard. Markings: Slide- RO, Bolt- RO, Trigger Housing- RO, Recoil Shield- Rock-Ola, Handguard- RMC and Stock- RMC, AAK & P. Rifle exhibits approximately 90% of it's arsenal refinish showing light even wear, some handling marks/scratches on the barrel and some scattered pin prick pitting observed under the finish on the barrel. Action is smooth, bore is near excellent, and wood stocks are good with several dings/mars. Condition is very good. ***C&R Firearm*** ***Modern Firearm***
