First edition of ''The Maiden Voyage'' signed by six Titanic survivors. Written by Geoffrey Marcus and published by Viking Press: New York: 1969. Dated 3 September 1988 by several of the survivors, who sign the half-title page: ''Beatrice Sandstrom'', ''Eva Hart'', ''Bertram V. Dean'', ''Eleanor Johnson Shuman'', ''Louise 'Kink' Pope'' and ''Frank Aks'', dubbed ''The Titanic Baby''. Also signed by Dorothy Dean, wife of Bertram Dean and Marie Aks, wife of Frank Aks. Volume features 45 black and white period photos and a large foldout diagram of the ship's layout, which is housed in a pocket built into the rear pastedown. Runs 320pp. and measures 6.25'' x 9.25''. Bound in yellow and black cloth boards with a blind-stamped image of the ship. Foxing to fore-edge, else near fine. With original price-clipped dustjacket, in near fine condition.
