"The Pancake Woman" by Rembrandt Van Rijn (1606-1669, Dutch). Etching and drypoint, 1635. 109 x 78 mm; 4.25 x 3.25 inches; second state of 3; 18th century. Comes professionally framed in an upscale (VERY expensive) frame. Images of framed work will be forwarded upon request.
Provenance: Purchased at Minotaur's Forum Gallery by first owner in Las Vegas (Casesar's Palace); COA and valuation of $6950.00 (1997) from then gallery director (Mr. Scott L. Ferguson) come with the item . All documentations on this work will be provided to the winning bidder/seller. Sotheby's also once authenticated this work and appraised at $10,000.00 in anticipation of consignment, but I did not agree with their selling terms. While I have lost the documentations, you can verify this with Sotheby's on your own, if you wish.
