This model was manufactured from 1924 to 1936 with a total production of only 957. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address/patent dates, the left side is marked "SMITH & WESSON" and the S&W logo appears on the left rear of the frame. The right side of the slide is marked with the caliber designation and the frame is marked "MADE IN U.S.A.". The pistol is equipped with integral low profile fixed sights, a front grip safety and seven round detachable magazine.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 98% original blue finish with some slight wear on the front edge of the slide and some normal usage wear on the right side of the trigger. The grips are near excellent with some scattered minor dents and dings. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. There is an area of cold blue touch up on the right rear of the frame.
