Rare Early Post-War Belgium Danish Contract High-Power Pistol Rig Complete with Original Holster S

Estimate: $1300 - 1900
This is an excellent example of an early post-WWII "Danish Military" contract pistol manufactured by the FN factory in Herstal, Belgium with approximately 1,700 pistols produced under this contract. This pistol is basically the same as the pre-war pistols but lack the tangent sight and slotted back strap. Documented serial numbers have been observed from 0.123-1.244, which indicates this pistol was produced early on in the contract. These pistols are identified by the factory applied frame markings on the left side of "M1946. H.V. 0583" and the special front sight that was serrated on the back side to reduce glare. Standard FN factory markings with standard FN acceptance proofs. Stacked serial number on the frame and slide with the matching barrel. With an original Danish contract leather holster, one original FN spare magazine, lanyard and original Danish cleaning rod.
