Rare Design, Charming Colors Rare handmade Vintage Persian Mazleqan-Hamedan Rug.100% Natural, hand woven, vegetable dye, wool pile on cotton foundation. This is a mid-20th century exquisite Mazleqan design on a heart warming ruby red color open field background in mint condition. Please notice the lovely central medallion and tear drops enhanced with beautiful crowned corners artistically connected to create a medallion out of the background field. This is a truly diamond in the rough. The creases in this Rug are due to fold and not a defect. Size: 5 feet 2 inches X 3 feet 2 inches. Country of Origin: Iran.
