Delhi Sultanate, Suri Dynasty, Sher Shah Suri (AH 945-952/1538-1545 AD), Malot Mint (at the Bottom), Silver Rupee, AH 950, Obv: Arabic legend The Kalim Shahada within a circle, the four Caliphs’ names, ‘al-sultan-ul-adil’ & ‘zarb Malot’ completely visible at the bottom in margin, Rev: Arabic legend ‘Sher Shah sultan khuld Allahu mulkahu wa sultanahu’ within a circle, ‘Farid-ud dunya wa’l din abu’l muzaffar’ with nagari legend ‘sri ser sah’ and 950 Hijri year in the margin, 11.31g, 32.85mm, (Unlisted Type in G&G for Mint at the bottom), test marks, centrally struck, gorgeous, choice extremely fine, Rare. Note: This variation, distinguished by the presence of the mint name "Malot" at the bottom, is a new type and has not been offered in the past.
