<B>Rare Deck of Suffrage Playing Cards.</B></I> A complete boxed set measuring 2.5" x 3.75" x .75". The backs carry a black ink vignette of a woman standing before a rising sun. The background border is yellow. The original box has been taped and is a little dirty. The deck contains all 52 cards along with the Joker, which is in excellent condition as is the key Ace of Spades. There are only two known types of official suffrage playing cards, although there are several color and design variations, all produced by the National Woman Suffrage Publishing Company, the publishing arm of NAWSA. The woman with the rising sun image is the rarer of the two. This set is in yellow, but variations of purple and blue are known.
