Manufactured by the famous English silversmith A & J Zimmerman, this is an unusual colour and unusual shape and form.

Rather than the usual sold piece of glass used to make these threaded glass strikes, this is a hollow form with the silver well fitted to the top, and an unusual beehive shape.

The glass colour is graduated from almost clear or pale pink at the base up to a rich cranberry up at the top.

The silver well sports the British hallmark for Birmingham 1894, making this a nice early example, Victorian in period.

Excellent condition with a few normal minor fleabites from usage, mentioned purely for accuracy. Measures 2 1/4" tall with a base diameter of 2".

Worldwide insured airmail included.
