Rare and Possibly Unique Commercial Navy Luger Holster, ca. 1917-1920, with ''LZA/(spread-wing eagle)/J.Karlsruhe'' markings, and similar additional markings beneath buckle on front; correct takedown tool and cleaning rod, as originally modified from WWI Naval rig. This is the actual holster, formerly in the John Pearson collection, pictured on page 239 of the Bender book, entitled ''Luger Holsters and Accessories of the 20th Century''. Holster is considered quite rare and seldom seen. Condition is about fine with all stitching present and light crazing beneath stud at cleaning rod. Frontstrap and buckle were added at time of conversion to commercial holster. Est.: $1,200-$1,800.
