Rare Clement-Neumann Model 1910 Semi-Automatic Carbine

Manufactured by Clement-Neumann in Liege, Belgium, this carbine was Europe's answer to Winchesters Model 1910 semi-automatic rifle. It is estimated that only about 1,000 of this model were manufactured. This particular carbine is absent of any markings with the exception of the serial number on the lower left rear of the receiver and Belgium proofmarks on the bolt and upper left front of the receiver. Fixed blade and notch rear sights on the matte solid rib, all blue finish and mounted with a multi-point checkered walnut forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with a serrated horn buttplate and sling swivels. Comes with a copy of a correspondence letter, a Stanley catalog, a copy of a Standard Arms letter and internet research.

Stock: walnut
Gauge: 401

Serial Number: 466

Very fine as period refinished with 97% blue finish remaining, showing any area of smooth brown patina on the barrel, some edge wear and some minor dings on the underside of the barrel just ahead of the forearm. The wood has also been refinished and remains very good showing some minor finish loss, a minor crack on the front of the forearm and crisp recut checkering. The proof marks on the receiver are partially visible and the first "6" in the serial number has been restamped. The action is fine.
