Excellent. The barrel retains 85% original bright high polish blue finish with some thinning due to cleaning, high edge wear and some spotting. The cylinder retains 95% bright original finish with some thinning to brown and a couple spots of minor oxidation. The frame retains 80% plus original silver with the balance having a silver gray patina. The hammer retains most of the original vivid case colors. The grips are excellent with 99% original varnish, some very minor lower edge wear a few small dings on the bottoms and a few minor dents and handling marks. Crisp markings. Excellent action. The case is very fine with a number of minor scratches and scuffs on the outside as well as a minor 3" crack in the lid. The lining is also very fine, totally original with some fraying on the edges and some contact wear.
