Manufactured in 1876, this revolver features factory scroll engraving on the sides of the frame, a geometric design on the top of the barrel, zigzag and dot design on the sides of the barrel and side plate, a feather design on the top strap, floral design on top of the back strap and decorative zigzag line designs on the cylinder. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address, the bottom of the barrel is marked with the patent date and the serial number is marked on the butt with the partial serial number "112" on the underside of the barrel. The left frame side is marked "22 CAL", which is partial covered by the engraving. The revolver is nickel plated with a gold washed cylinder and cylinder pin, and is fitted with smooth pearl grips which are scrimshawed "Little Duke/1885" on the left panel. Complete with a leatherette case with silver initial plaque on the lid inscribed "ADW", satin lining on the inside of the lid and purple velvet in the case. In the case is two rectangle shaped tortise shell cuff links with a gold decorative bordering around the sides and a gold image of a New Line revolver on the top.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 97% original nickel finish. There are a few minor dings on the butt. The cylinder retains 75% original gold wash finish. The grips are excellent. The inscription appears to be of the period and remains clear. The markings and engraving are crisp. The action is excellent. The case is fine with some corner wear, a couple of minor tears and some moderate contact wear and soiling of the lining. The cuff links are excellent.
