This is your chance to own a numbered print of a rare C.M. Russell painting. The original was painted by Russell circa 1896 and given as a 'thank you' gift to the owner of the Shepard and Flinn General Store in Cascade, MT for lending him a suit in which to get married. The original stayed in the Flinn family for a number of years; when the family eventually sold it, they retained the rights to make prints from it. In addition to being an earlier work of C.M. Russell, it is also one of the few indoor scenes he ever painted. This painting would make a very nice addition to any C.M. Russell or Western collection. The painting is very nicely framed and matted. the glass does have a crack in the lower right corner, and the frame is slightly damaged in the same corner. The piece measures about 33.5" x 27.5"
