This is one of an estimated 484 Naval General Service Medals with the Guadaloupe clasp that the British Royal Navy awarded. The rim of the silver medal is marked "WILLIAM MILLS". The white ribbon has dark blue edges. As stated it has the Guadaloupe clasp. According to the consignor notes, William Mills was aboard the Rosamund as an Able Seaman.
