Smith & Wesson manufactured 250 of these shoulder stocks fitted for the New Model 3 revolver for the Australian Colonial Police. Those revolvers and stocks were serial numbered in the 12,000 to 13,000 range. The stock is walnut with nickel plated attaching iron and checkered bare butt. The lower tang is marked with the Australian Colonial Police Broad Arrow and serial number "12500". Complete with an original leather carrying case with an iron ring on the back for a strap.

Condition: Very fine. The stock shows a few minor dings and dents with crisp checkering. The attaching iron retains 95% original nickel finish with scattered minor flaking. The pouch is good with some wear, age cracks, scuffs and tight stitching.
