Akbar (AH 963-1014 /1556-1605 AD), Lahore Mint (At the top), Silver Rupee, AH 972, Kalima Type, Obv: Arabic legend Kalima Shahada within a double pentafoil, Rev: Persian legend "Jalal-ud-din Muhammad Akbar Badshah ghazi khuld Allahu" & "zarb Lahore" almost completely visible in the margin, 11.30g, 27.71mm, (KM # 80.12), legends at both sides within a beautiful double-knotted lozenge star, test marks, sharply struck, cabinet toning, about extremely fine, Rare.
Note: The mint name "Lahore" is completely visible at the top, a feature often omitted on other coins. The cabinet toning developed on this piece accentuates its beauty.
