A colorful chromolithograph printed on coated stock paper, then mounted on board, depicting "Ute Pass, CO.", Ca. 1875-1880. Printed by Achert & Henckel of Cincinnati. Winding its way down to wagons marked "Schuttler Wagon." A Buckboard to the left bears the same identification and painted on a large boulder "The Old Reliable Schuttler Wagon." Known as "The Great Chicago Wagon King," Perter Schuttler (1812-1865) was one of the country's leading wagon makers. Inspect photos closely, there are some blemishes at bottom around name plate. Old and collectable.
