Republic India, Coil Stamps, Map Series, 1958, 20 Naya Paisa (6), Strip of 6 stamps, MNH, good condition, Rare.
Note: In 1958, India Post issued the "Map Series" of coil stamps featuring a map of India which were issued in a continuous coil format for vending machines. In order to facilitate dispensing, the Map Series coil stamps were printed in a horizontal format with a perforation on one side.
As coil stamps were primarily used in vending machines, they are less common than regular postage stamps. However, due to their unique format and design, these stamps are attractive to collectors and philatelists.
