Original statement from the office of Congressman John F. Kennedy on inflation and the minimum wage. In this three page document typed on onion paper, datelined Boston, 13 August [1952], Kennedy declares, ''The American consumer is entitled to protection from inflationary forces...Congress...must lift the minimum wage from seventy-five cents an hour and increase its coverage in industries...'' Original paper clip binds 8.5'' x 11'' pages which are lightly toned. From the Robert L. White JFK collection. Very good condition.
