Rare 1940s Hopi Bowl by Juanita Healing (1916-2006) First Mesa, measures 3.5'' x 5.25'', features traditional geometric Hopi designs, signed on bottom by artist, Juanita Healing was from the Hopi village of Sichomovi at First Mesa. Juanita married Dewey Healing, son of Annie Healing Nampeyo, oldest daughter of Nampeyo of Hano. Juanita was an exceptional artisan, both in constructing a vessel and in decorating it. Juanita did much of her work in mid 20th century before it was common for Hopi potters to sign their work.

After the 48 hour period all items are considered as is, without recourse. No buyers premium or shipping will be re-embursed on items returned for any reason.

Items not paid for upon the non pay warning, will be relisted for resale within 10 days. You represent that you are over the age of 18 and can enter into legal contracts. *** The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser, regardless of the time the bids were placed. In the event of a tie between bidders, the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute.
