January 4, 1872-Dated, Partial 16 page Imprint Pamphlet titled, “Notes About Cuba” including, “I. African Slave Trade. / II. Abolition of Slavery. / III. Inferences from the last Presidential Message.” Mostly the portions relating to Very Fine.
Mostly inclusive of the portions relating to Slavery in Cuba, an original printing of a (partial) Pamphlet, “Notes About Cuba.” by Francisco V. Aguilera, Ramon Cespedes, Commissioners of the Republic of Cuba, measuring 5.75” x 9”, with 16 pages, disbound. The first page reads, “As it appears likely that matters relating to the existence of Slavery in Cuba, and to the War which the Cubans have been waging for three years to throw off the yoke of Spain, may soon be discussed in the Congress of the United States, we deem it proper, under the circumstances, to record the few following facts and statements.” Primary subjects covered in this historic Pamphlet include: “I.
