<B>Rare Postally-Used 1864 Lincoln & Johnson Campaign Envelope.</B></I> Postally-used examples of these Civil War envelopes are always much more valuable. Most are merely patriotic, including those picturing Lincoln. But the "For President... Vice President" wording clearly marks this example as a campaign issue. Any type of political item with a jugate of these two is highly desirable, and this is an unusual variety. Under "Key notes" are listed (rather stridently) the key points of the 1864 Union platform.
