Pre-Stamp Cover, Ship Letter, 4 Annas, 1857, dispatched from Bombay, bears a Black three-compartment postmark “BOMBAY SHIP LETTER | 1857 | Bearing 4”, value is in Red ink mss ‘4.’ denotes 4 Annas. Giles # Type SR3. It has another postmark on the back side in Black “Bombay | SE 19 | 1857” in between two arcs of a circle, Giles # Type X1, excellent condition, Rare.
