French painter (1877–1953) best known for his colorful depictions of such outdoor social events as regattas, horse races, and the like. ALS, one page, on a 6 x 4.25 pictured postcard of Dufy’s work entitled Marseille - The Old Port, no date, but postmarked May 13, 1952. Brief letter to a friend in New York, written by Freddy Homburger. In full: “All is well and the best to you.” Signed by Homburger, as well as Raoul Dufy, his partner Berthe Reysz and artist Andre Robert. In fine condition, with postmark over small portion of text and partial overlapping to Dufy’s signature.
