Two items from punk rocker GG Allin’s personal collection: a Sire Records 45 rpm of The Ramones’ 1979 single album for ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll High School’ and ‘Do You Wanna Dance?’, signed on the front cover in black and blue felt tip by Joey, Johnny, Dee Dee, and Marky Ramone; and a color 24 x 24 promotional poster for the Rock ‘N’ Roll High School soundtrack, signed in black felt tip by Joey, Johnny, and Dee Dee. The 45 album is in fine condition, with a couple stray ink marks and a small block of toning from removed price tag to the album sleeve; the poster is in very good condition, with creasing, soiling, tack holes and tears (two tape-repaired on the reverse), and a central portion of the top edge missing. The record is included. Both poster and album were obtained from Allin in a trade in 1980. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Chris Lamy, close friend of The Ramones and guitarist of The Jabbers, formerly GG Allin & The Jabbers. The Chris Lamy Collection.
