Handwritten lyrics for the Ramones song ‘Weasel Face,’ unsigned, written in pencil by an unknown hand on an off-white 7.75 x 10.5 notebook page. The lyrics, in full: “twenty four hours ago, no one could help me, I was all alone in life, with no where to go / So I picked up the phone, and called out for help, somebody please help me, I am frightened and alone / and its way past midnight, the TV set is glowen, its been my only friend, one crisis after another / I am not a looser or a quitter, its all or nothen baby, cause we fought so hard, for our little piece of this world / weasle face, weasle face, dont let it get you down.” In fine condition, with small tears and staining to the bottom edge. Co-written by Dee Dee and Johnny Ramone, ‘Weasel Face’ is the fourth track from the band’s tenth studio album, 1987’s Halfway to Sanity. According to Johnny, the song is about a fan ‘who had a real weasel face. He came to all our gigs in the South; he followed us around. I think he was from Mississippi.’
