<B>Raiders of the Lost Ark (Paramount, 1983).</B></I> Polish (26" X 38"). This film was first released in Poland in 1983 after all the Oscars were collected. It features artwork by famed Polish artist, Jakub Erol, and is considered one of his best. The dramatic image of Indy's fabled whip coiling through the skull eyes like the snakes he hates so much is pure Polish imagery at its finest. And note the successful manner in which many of the better Polish artists incorporate the titles and credits by doing the actual lettering themselves in artwork consistent with the overall style of the poster. There are two minor print creases in the lower left field touched up with ink.
