CIS-Jind, Raghbir Singh (1864-1887 AD), Sahrind Mint (off flan), Silver Rupee, "Qadir-e-Bechun" Couplet, In the name of Ahmad Shah Durrani, Obv: Persian legend “hukm shud az qadir-e-bechun ba Ahmad Badshah, sikka-e-zan bar seem-o-zar az auj mahi ta bamah", Rev: a symbol of “swad” in Persian letter 'seen' of julus, initial letter “Re” for Raghbir below seen of julus and zarb Sahrind off flan at the bottom, 10.90g, 20.82mm, (KM # 5/Saran & Dalwinder # JD 30da), about very fine, Rare.
Note: Raghbir Singh never made new dies to strike his coins, he minted his coins using the previous ruler Bhag Singh’s coin dies by adding his initial as Persian letter ‘Re’ that stands for his name Raghbir Singh.
