All rights of this work are the property of Anton Schroll & Co who are publishers of the German Edition. Printed in Austria. Plate #8 "Studies of Hands for a Madonna and for Angels": In the middle on the right is a hand which is offering the breast, while three others show the action of holding a baby. The organic drawing with emphasis on the bones and the way in which the fingers are spread wide apart indicate the authorship of this artist. The sheet is made up of three pieces joined together. The original was done with silver-point on paper with a gray ground.
