Motorsports Hall of Fame trophy from Wilbur Shaw's induction. Shaw's son accepted the trophy on his late father's behalf at the June 1991 ceremony. Shaw's phenomenal racing career saw him win the Indianapolis 500 three times, and in 1940 set a record as the first driver to win it two years in a row. Trophy, named, ''Horsepower'', is a winged horse of cast iron on a wooden base. Measures 13.75'' in height. Base diameter measures 4.75''. Weighs a mighty 20 pounds. Near fine.
