Manufactured circa 1977-78, this revolver has been nicely custom engraved by Marty Rabeno. Rabeno is a founding charter member of the Firearms Engravers Guild of America where he served as president for four years. The revolver features deep floral scroll engraving with a matte background on the barrel and barrel lug sides, cylinder flats, frame, and trigger guard. In addition there is a scene of a fox on the left side of the frame and a howling coyote on the right side. The top of the back strap is inscribed with a script "EJ" and the left rear of the frame is signed "Rabeno/79". The barrel has the standard Smith & Wesson and caliber markings and the 4 line address is marked on the right front of the frame. Patridge front and adjustable rear sights, wide checkered spur hammer and serrated trigger, both casehardened and fitted with custom smooth two-piece nicely figured, select walnut grips with a mild thumb rest on both sides.
