During his 23-year career as an infielder (1912-1935), mostly with the Boston Braves, he established many fielding records with his colorful play, including most lifetime putouts by a shortstop (5,133). Vintage ink signature, “’Yours in sports’ Rabbit Maranville,” on an off-white 4.5 x 2.5 slip. Repaired tear to top left corner, which could be matted out, and a uniform block of mild toning from previous display, otherwise fine condition.
