RUSSIAN ANTI-SEMITIC PROPOGANDA
1186. RUSSIAN ANTI-SEMITIC PROPOGANDA An interesting lot of three printed Russian anti-Semitic military propaganda documents from the two World Wars, includes: a broadside from Petrograd, approx. 10" x 14", ca. 1916, urging Jewish soldiers to fight for the Red Army. Of course, at the end of World War I, Russian Jews would demand the right to revive the Jewish homeland of Palestine; a World War II-era broadside likely from the Ukraine, 11" x 14", ca. 1941, issued by the German military command, ordering Jews to move immediately into an unnamed Ghetto. Each matted and set into a simple gold frame. Along with two printed Russian anti-Semitic cartoons, one showing two "Jewish" soldiers laughing together while a city burns in the background, and the other showing a caricature of a Jew with a 1000 ruble note in his hand, looming above soldiers fighting in the trenches. Matted together and set into a simple gold frame. Three pieces, very good condition, unexamined out of frame.$100-150
