Cal. 30-06. S# 131-42360. Bbl. 22" with banded front sight having user changeable brass bead and corresponding folding leaf rear sight on factory quarter rib that is machined for Ruger scope rings. Mfg. 1978 (1967 to date) having checkered walnut stock set; 2 panel checkering on its Alex Henry forend along with attractive striped buttstock. Red buttpad and detachable swivel bases; stud on buttstock and band on barrel. Barrel has "warning marks" as initiated by Ruger in late 1977 to early 1978 for all Ruger firearms. CONDITION: very faint mark on top left side of forend at midpoint plus another on toe line of buttstock between sling stud and pad. All other aspects near excellent as professionally refinished to include wood and metal. (25-4934/NW). MODERN. $750-1,000.
