Following our record-breaking February 2017 Music Auction featuring Prince, RR is thrilled to present our first-ever Prince-only themed auction this September. Highlights include Prince personally-owned and -worn items and handwritten material from Prince insiders who developed strong working and personal relationships with the musical icon, most notably fellow singer-songwriter and one-time fiancee Susannah Melvoin. Our exceptional offerings cover scarce handwritten lyrics, attractive gold and platinum sales awards, rare albums, and stage-worn jewelry and accessories. This specially devoted catalog tells the history of Prince’s career from 1978’s “For You,” through to the iconic “Purple Rain” era, his incredible 1980s success, 1990s Warner Brother’s emancipation, and beyond.
