Auction Details

With well over 1,000 lots spanning a dozen genres, RR Auction's July Fine Autographs and Artifacts sale is highlighted by special Animation Art section, plus an assortment of Founding Fathers to honor America's Independence Day. Among the top lots are a handwritten letter by Karl Marx, an amazing Lewis Carroll letter about "Alice," an early Winston Churchill portrait, a marvelous double-signed Beatles program, rare letters by artists like Claude Monet and Gilbert Stuart, and fully signed Apollo 11 insurance covers. The animation feature boasts original production artwork from classics like Snow White, Fantasia, Pinocchio, Lady and the Tramp, Bambi, and Dumbo, in addition to several Walt Disney autographs. Founders include important letters by Benjamin Franklin and George Washington, a Force print of the Declaration of Independence, a John Hancock document from 1776, and a collection of signers of the US Constitution.
