""Theodore Roosevelt"" on his imprinted letterhead, 1p. 8vo., New York, Dec. 22, 1914, to Dr. Henry Waldo Coe, an Oregon Senator and a good friend of TR remembered for his donation of a series of Presidential statues to the city of Portland. In part: ""àThat's a nice note of yours, even though I don't agree with that estimate of me! I wish I could have seen you when you were East. Don't ever come East again without letting me see youà"". A very small chip to top margin, with two holograph emendations, very good condition.
